You'll move through case studies and an academic writing workshop toward an article-length critical essay, building it up via a proposal, a presentation, and sustained engagement with theory on stardom, authorship, the gaze, and spectatorship. As a graduate seminar in Communication and Design, it's where you sharpen the analytical and publishable-writing skills that thesis work and further film scholarship rest on.
