Interior Design Studio III

Studio III is where you stop designing rooms and start designing places people share — hospitality and other public/semi-public interiors where circulation, accessibility, and code-driven detailing matter as much as the concept. Expect a full semester on the drafting table: a single major project carried through schematic moves to production-ready documentation, defended at two pre-juries, a midterm, and a final, with construction systems and component detailing taught alongside the design work rather than as a separate course. It's the third of the four studio sequence, so it assumes you can already model space and read a plan, and it's the semester where your drawings have to survive being built, not just presented.
