Introduction to Business I

MAN 101 is the bird's-eye-view course that maps how a firm actually hangs together — how marketing, operations, accounting, finance, and HR each pull their weight and feed into one another, framed by ethics, globalization, and entrepreneurship. You'll sit through interactive lectures and video cases, write two midterm essays and a report, and pick up the shared vocabulary the rest of the management curriculum assumes you already speak. Think of it as the orientation layer before you specialize: light on technical depth, heavy on the conceptual scaffolding that MAN 102 and every functional-area course later in the program build on.
