Cross-Cultural Management

Cross-cultural management treats culture as a working variable in business: the same negotiation tactic, deadline, or org chart that succeeds in one country can quietly fail in another, and this course gives you the anthropological vocabulary (Hofstede-style dimensions, Trompenaars dilemmas) to predict and navigate those gaps. You'll work through case studies, sit two essay-based exams, and team up to research a country of your choosing — the class reports are bundled into a shared Cultural Handbook. It's a senior management elective that ties together what you've learned about organizations, leadership, and strategy, and it's especially useful if you're aiming at multinationals, consulting, or international postings after graduation.
