Business Analytics

Business Analytics is about bridging the gap between business judgment and quantitative tooling: taking messy operational, financial, and marketing questions and turning them into something a computer can actually optimize, forecast, or classify. You'll spend the semester writing code against real problems, inventory and revenue decisions, portfolio and FX trades, customer segmentation, through homeworks, quizzes, a midterm, and a project where you present your own analysis. The course assumes you already know (or will self-teach) the underlying optimization, forecasting, and ML; its real contribution is showing where each technique earns its keep in an actual business decision, which is the muscle you'll lean on in finance, operations, or consulting roles after graduation.
