Introduction to Calculus II

MATH 106 picks up where the first semester left off and turns calculus into a real working toolkit: integration as the inverse of differentiation, then the machinery to actually compute integrals, solve simple differential equations, and extend everything to functions of several variables. You will spend the term grinding through problem sets and two written exams, learning to recognize which technique (substitution, parts, partial fractions, Lagrange multipliers) a given problem wants. It is a required gateway for almost every engineering and science track at Bilkent, since later courses in physics, ODEs, probability, and economics quietly assume you can integrate and handle partial derivatives without thinking.
