Building directly on the first-semester chorale, this is an ensemble singing course where the real work is sustained group practice: showing up to rehearsals, holding your own line in three- and four-part textures, and responding in real time to the director's cues. You'll deepen vocal technique and sight-reading by actually preparing repertoire for public concerts, which are non-negotiable parts of the grade. It's open to any student regardless of major, and functions less as a lecture course than as an ongoing performance commitment that rewards consistency over cramming.
