Bilkent Chorale is less a lecture course than a working ensemble: you show up, warm up, and learn to function as one voice inside a three- or four-part texture under a conductor. Most of your time goes to rehearsing assigned repertoire, refining vocal tone and blend, and sharpening sight-reading so you can hold your part without leaning on the section next to you. Attendance at rehearsals and the end-of-term concerts is non-negotiable, since the grade really lives in the performance. It's open to any student regardless of major, and pairs naturally with a second semester (MSC 154) if you want to keep singing.
