I/O psychology applies what you've learned about human behavior, cognition, and measurement to the place most of you will spend the next forty years: the workplace. The course centers on how organizations actually decide who to hire, how to evaluate performance, and how to structure work — treating "the human factor" as something you study empirically rather than guess at. Expect a quiz and a hands-on project (typically a job analysis) where you operationalize a role the way a real consultant would. It's a natural bridge between the experimental and social psych you've taken and the applied work in HR, consulting, or organizational research that builds on it.
