Building on the technical foundation of Dance I, this studio course shifts focus toward Broadway-style performance — you'll cycle through jazz, hip hop, and tap while training in the Jean Hamilton Floor-Barre Technique to sharpen alignment and body coordination. Class time is almost entirely physical: weekly two-hour lab sessions where you learn combinations to music, plus substantial outside practice to clean them before the midterm and final showings. There's also a real choreographic component, so by the end you're not just executing someone else's steps but constructing your own, which feeds directly into later performance and staging work in the Performing Arts curriculum.
