You'll work weekly on authentic texts moving between your working languages, tackling topics from supply and demand to monetary policy, exchange rates, and stock markets, with two midterms, two finals, and homework assignments built around analysis-then-translation cycles. The real goal is thematic competence: learning enough economics to translate confidently, plus the research habits to validate terminology, which sets you up for the other domain-specific translation courses later in the program.
