CI 608 is a graduate-level survey of how technology actually lands in classrooms, not just what tools exist, but which ones hold up under research scrutiny and where the friction lies for teachers, students, and institutions. You'll spend the semester in a mix of lab sessions and independent exploration, building lesson plans that integrate Web 2.0, multimedia, and assessment tools, then presenting applications tied to your own teaching field. It's a practitioner-oriented course in the curriculum and instruction track, useful if you're heading into instructional design, ed-tech research, or any teaching role where you'll need to defend tool choices with more than enthusiasm.
