Digital photography here is treated as a way of seeing, not just a technical exercise, you learn to read light, frame, and composition while building the muscle to produce images that actually say something. The bulk of the work happens through your camera and editing software: a shooting exercise, a location project, a midterm series, and a final body of work you present publicly, with RAW processing, metadata, and AI-assisted retouching folded into the workflow. It sits early in the COMD studio track, giving you the visual literacy and production habits that later courses in film, design, and media production assume you already have.
