EEE 351 is where the circuit-level picture you've been using breaks down and you start treating electricity and magnetism as coupled vector fields in space, building from electrostatics and magnetostatics up to the full set of Maxwell's equations and the wave behavior that falls out of them. Expect heavy vector calculus on paper — gradient/divergence/curl, flux and line integrals, boundary conditions — three quizzes, a midterm, a final, and a term project where you actually design and present something rather than just solve textbook problems. It's the bridge between the Calc III / physics II math you already have and everything downstream that depends on fields rather than lumped elements: antennas, transmission lines, microwaves, optics, and most of the RF and communications electives in later semesters.
