Artistic Anatomy trains your eye and hand to see the human figure structurally, bones first, then muscles, then how they surface under skin and resolve into pose. You'll spend most weeks alternating between anatomy lectures and studio sessions drawing skeletons and live models, building up from the spine and ribcage through the limbs before closing with masterclass exercises that reconstruct poses from Hopper, Manet, and Holbein. It's a foundational studio course for anyone doing figurative work later in the program, where the goal isn't memorizing anatomy but internalizing it deeply enough that your drawings stop looking like surfaces and start reading as bodies.
