Drawing IV is where you push past technical accuracy and start treating the figure as a vehicle for your own voice, learning to read the body in terms of form, value, and color rather than just outline. Most weeks you spend four-hour studio sessions drawing live models under spotlight on large craft or black paper, rotating through pencil, charcoal, white pencil, and color pencil, with group critiques and a gallery-visit paper sharpening how you talk about images. It builds on the earlier Drawing sequence and feeds directly into the studio work that defines the rest of the Fine Arts curriculum, so the real outcome is a portfolio and a working eye, not a grade on a test.
