Graphic Design II

The second semester of studio-based graphic design, where the focus shifts from learning visual fundamentals to actually solving design problems with intent. You'll work through a sequence of projects, applying design principles, generating ideas, reading images semiotically, and tackling poster design and socially-aware briefs, using whatever medium (analogue, digital, photographic, mixed) fits the concept. Grading is almost entirely project-based with no exams, and the studio habits you build here carry directly into the typography, illustration, and senior project courses that define the rest of the GRA track.
