This is where you stop sketching on trace paper and start producing the digital deliverables that the rest of the IAED studio sequence will expect from you. Most of the semester runs as lab work in CAD software, building up from 2D plans, sections, and annotation conventions to a 3D model you can light, material, and render for a final jury. It pairs with your studio courses by giving you the production toolkit to actually communicate the design ideas you generate there, and the workflows you learn here become baseline assumptions in every upper-year representation, detailing, and portfolio context.
