A graduate-level statistics course aimed at design researchers who need to handle empirical data rigorously rather than anecdotally — the goal is turning observations from surveys, experiments, and field studies into defensible conclusions. You work through SPSS hands-on, moving from describing distributions and crosstabs into inference: t-tests, ANOVA, regression, chi-square, and the logic of hypothesis testing and confidence intervals. It exists because most interior architecture master's theses involve human data, and supervisors expect you to choose and justify the right test rather than guess; what you learn here is what you will actually run on your own thesis dataset.
