Introduction to Psychology/Social and Developmental

PSYC 103 picks up where PSYC 101 leaves off, shifting the lens from the biological and cognitive machinery of the mind to how people actually grow, behave around others, and break down or recover psychologically. You'll work through Feldman across developmental stages, social influence, personality frameworks, and clinical disorders, with two midterms, homework sets, and a brief statistics appendix that gives you the tools to read the research rather than just memorize findings. As the second half of the intro sequence required for the Psychology major, it's the foundation the upper-year courses on social, developmental, and abnormal psychology assume you already have.
