Differential Equations

Differential equations are the language engineering and the physical sciences use to describe anything that changes — from a cooling cup of coffee to an oscillating circuit — and this course teaches you how to actually solve them rather than just admire the notation. You'll work through first- and second-order ODEs by hand, pick up systematic tools like undetermined coefficients, variation of parameters, Laplace transforms, and power-series solutions, and prove your fluency through a midterm, a final, and a quiz built around problem-solving.
