ECON 204 picks up where the first microeconomics course left off and shifts the lens from a single consumer or firm in isolation to how whole markets clear and how agents behave when their choices depend on what others do. You'll work through problem sets on general equilibrium and welfare, then move into monopoly, oligopoly, externalities, and the game-theoretic tools needed to reason about uncertainty and strategic behavior. It's the bridge between the polished world of perfect competition and the messier models you'll meet later in industrial organization, public economics, and any field elective that takes information or market power seriously.
